We offically have everything we need

Hey look, it's Brad posting again....

Yup, we finally got the last thing we really needed (and the most important thing, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to bring Zach home). The mystery of who bought the car seat was solved yesterday. It was actually my co-workers who bought it for me.

Yesterday morning my boss approached me saying he wanted to take me out to lunch to celebrate Zach's impending arrival. I said sure, and around noon, the whole "Infrastructure Support" gang went out to lunch. We sat around talking while eating lunch, with my boss and another sys admin tried to scare me with baby stories. Overall it was fun. When we were done with lunch we headed back to the office and there was a big box sitting on my chair. Turns out they had bought the car seat a while back (i.e., a few days before Tori noticed someone had bought it), and were holding on to it until they could give it to me at the "Shower".

I told Tori about it and she started bugging me to come home because she wanted to see it. Once I got home she had me pull it out of the box, as well as put the stroller together.

We got the Graco embrace set, and overall it's pretty nice. The car seat is easy to carry, and the stroller is easy to collapse and steer.

The next thing we plan on doing is using the coupons/discounts we get to fill in some of the extra gaps (i.e. more bottles, more diapers, some toys we didn't get). That will hopefully happen next friday when I get paid again. (If anyone wants to help, we could use some geek onesies from Think Geek, like this or this) </shameless-pleading>.
